On January 4, 2019, according to the approved plan of work with pilot schools on testing the updated content of education and disseminating the experience of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools, training seminars were organized for teachers of PI “Secondary School № 10 of Akimat of Kostanay” and PI “Sverdlovsk Secondary School of Akimat of Altynsarin Dstrict” in order to provide methodological guidance.
More than 100 teachers of these pilot schools took part in this event. The content of the workshops included consideration of practical ways to develop cognitive skills (memory, attention), functional literacy reading skills (for teachers of humanitarian cycle)and also the methods of using CLIL technology in teaching subjects of natural and mathematical cycle.
The workshop “Methods of work with information,” “Homework as a form of organization of independent activity of primary school students” and “Emotional intelligence – the basis of effective communication” were also organized for the participants of the seminar.
The activity and interest of all present was manifested during the discussion of issues related to the particular topics. All participating teachers, with great pleasure, performed their various tasks in the workshops, and the coaches, in turn, were happy to share their experience with their colleagues.
