October 1, 1991 the UN General Assembly proclaimed a holiday called “Day of Older Persons”, which is celebrated to this day. “Day of Older Persons” – a holiday that should remind you that the elders need to help and respect them, because they have great importance for the whole society.
Nazarbayev Intellectual school of physics and mathematics of Kostanay could not stay away and on September 28, 2018 organized a concert dedicated to such a beautiful day. On this day words of gratitude and recognition to the older generation sounded from the stage. Musical and choreographic groups of our school presented many bright and colorful performances.
“Day of Older Persons” is a great opportunity for young people to express their gratitude, love to the older generation, emphasizing their importance for the society of the world.
